I’m building something I wish had existed when I started writing.

The First Draft Writers Club is my community for developing writers.

It starts with a 30 day, interactive course that:

– teaches you the foundations of writing and leads you to discover what kind of writer you are

– helps you embed a writing routine you can keep to (and supports you afterwards, as you work through your story)

The main course takes you from finding your first idea to the meaningful foundations of a novel with hours of video lessons, interactive resources and accessible exercises, all designed to fit into around half an hour a day (or on-demand whenever you want). In time, I’ll drill down with more mini-courses to support your development too.

It’s like my YouTube videos really, there are no formulas, no slick promises of writing a bestseller by the time the course is over, just a guided tour of the craft, by a fellow writer passionate about helping others to start writing and stay writing.

You won’t be alone, either. The community is built around writers supporting each other and building their skills.
