Track changes (or similar functions) - I won’t replace or change anything in your actual manuscript. I want to make sure every word of your story remains yours.

If you’re not totally confident in your story, no problem! That’s what I’m here for. However, cleaning up your manuscript to the best of your ability beforehand will ensure you get the most out of your edit
Your story doesn’t have to be completely finished
If you’d like a full manuscript edit, I’m happy to work on it in one, or piece by piece at whatever pace works for you
estimate your price
I always start with a 5000 word (or thereabouts) extract for novel edits, this allows you to check that the detail and insight in my editing is what you’re looking for.
That first 5000 words is always $200 ($0.04 per word).
After that, I charge a lower rate of $0.03 per word for the rest.
There are no hidden fees, and I’m open to customising rates if required, so feel free to ask for a custom quote and let me know your requirements.
Most editors either do line-editing or developmental editing as separate services with separate pricing. I prefer to do both at once, for better value for writers.
